The online bill payment facility for electricity consumers has been extended to entire Haryana.

Earlier, the facility of online payment was available in Faridabad, Gurgaon and Hisar in the area of the Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam and the Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam.

Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai) has set final deadline for entry of subscriber details in the subscriber management systems (SMS) in DAS phase II cities, failing which multi system operators (MSOs) will have to switch off TV signals of such subscriptions.

In a note issued on Friday, TRAI said that MSOs in 23 cities where 90% of the task of collecting consumer application forms (CAF) has been completed should cut off signals from January 27 to those subscribers who haven’t submitted their details.

The regulator said 80% of the task has been completed in the remaining eight cities viz. Patna, Ahmedabad, Ranchi, Bengaluru, Kalyan-Dombivali, Nagpur, Navi Mumbai and Thane. For these cities TRAI has set January 31, 2014 as the final deadline. As a result non-complying television subscribers in Rajkot, Surat, Vadodara, Faridabad, Mysore, Aurangabad, Nasik, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune, Sholapur, Amritsar, Ludhiana, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Agra, Allahabad, Ghaziabad, Kanpur, Lucknow, Meerut, Varanasi, Chandigarh and Howrah will face a black-out.

The Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) has allotted about 58 acre to the State Housing Board for construction of 50,000 residential flats in various urban estates for defence personnel or ex-servicemen.

The Authority has offered 57.96 acre, including 10 acre each at Faridabad, Mahendergarh and Rewari, 4.5 acre at Palwal, 11 acre at Pinjore or Panchkula, seven acre at Rohtak and 5.46 acre at Jhajjar, a HUDA spokesman said here today.

फरीदाबाद. बिजली निगम ने फरीदाबाद-पलवल के चार लाख उपभोक्ताओं को बड़ा तोहफा दिया है। इसके तहत 1600 यूनिट से कम बिजली की खपत करने वाले उपभोक्ताओं को अब 200 रुपए राहत मिलेगी। सीएम की घोषणा के अनुसार यह राहत नए साल से लागू हो गई है। इससे जिले के करीब चार लाख उपभोक्ताओं को लाभ मिलेगा। इतना ही नहीं इस साल बिजली के रेट भी नहीं बढ़ाए जाएंगे। जो दरें चल रही हैं। वहीं रहेंगी। वित्त वर्ष 2014-15 में भी पुरानी स्लैब प्रणाली के तहत ही बिल बनेंगे। इस संबंध में सर्कुलर जारी कर दिया गया है।

इन उपभोक्ताओं को मिलेगा लाभ

In A move that is likely to impact construction in urban areas, particularly the NCR, the Haryana government has decided to grant mixed land use licences in commercial zones. The move will now allow developers to build residential properties in commercial complexes.

The government has already been allowing the reverse — integrated commercial complexes in residential areas.

So far, licences in designated commercial zones/commercial belts in development plans have been granted exclusively for integrated commercial complexes but under the new Mixed Land Use (Commercial/Residential) Licensing Policy, these complexes can now house residential properties.

There are, however, a few riders. The projects will only be allowed beside sector roads or service roads of minimum 30 metres width.

Their minimum area will have to be 10 acres, irrespective of the potential zones while the maximum area cannot exceed 50 per cent in Gurgaon-Manesar; 30 per cent in Faridabad-Ballabhgarh and 10 per cent in the rest of the state.

ग्रेटर फरीदाबाद में 2 सीवेज ट्रीटमेंट प्लांटों (एसटीपी) के लिए जमीन अधिग्रहण का रास्ता साफ हो गया है। पिछले दिनों हूडा ने जमीन अधिग्रहण के लिए सेक्शन 4 लागू करने के बाद लोगों से आपत्तियां मांगी थीं। हूडा अधिकारियों के पास लगभग दो दर्जन आपत्तियां आई थीं, जिन्हें निपटा दिया गया है। उच्च अधिकारियांे से सेक्शन 6 का नोटिफिकेशन लागू करने की भी मंजूरी मिल चुकी है। एक-दो दिनों में सेक्शन 6 का नोटिफिकेशन लागू कर दिया जाएगा।

इसका आयोजन होडल का आईएस पब्लिक स्कूल कर रहा है। टूर्नामेंट में पांच टीमें शामिल होंगी।

टेस्ट मैच आयोजित कराने का मकसद खिलाड़ियों को लंबी अवधि के क्रिकेट में दक्ष बनाना है। ताकि छोटे बच्चों में अभी से क्रीज पर समय बिताने का संयम पैदा हो सके।

दिल्ली के आम आदमी पार्टी की सरकार की तर्ज पर फरीदाबाद में भी टेंट वाले रैन बसेरे तैयार किए गए हैं।

ताकि बेघर लोगों को कड़कड़ाती ठंड से बचाया जा सके। रेडक्रॉस सोसायटी ने प्रयोग के तौर पर ओल्ड रेलवे स्टेशन के पास पांच रैनबसेरे बनाए गए हैं। इसके बाद जगह-जगह टेंट वाले रैन बसेरों को ही बनाया जाएगा।

जिला रेडक्रॉस सोसायटी द्वारा जिले में चार स्थाई रैन बसेरे बनाए गए थे। यह रैन बसेरे जनता कॉलोनी, सेक्टर-12 व ओल्ड फरीदाबाद में स्थित हैं। सभी रैन बसेरे आबादी से अलग हैं।

Thousands of commuters on Faridabad road had a harrowing experience on Friday afternoon when a riot-like situation erupted leading to a traffic jam that lasted till late in the night. Around 12 persons, including some policemen, were injured when 1,500 villagers blocked the road following rumours that cattle were being smuggled through this route for slaughter.

Home loans had been sanctioned for about 80% units in a society with 10,000 apartments, but HT Estates understands from the RTI reply that the building plan had not been approved by the district town planner, Faridabad.

Chandigarh: The Rs 2,494 crore project of extension of Delhi Metro from Badarpur to YMCA Chowk, Faridabad is expected to be completed by September 2014.

The project will cover a length of 13.875 kilometres, a spokesperson of Haryana Town and Country Planning Department said, adding that a memorandum of agreement was signed with Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRCL) in March 2012 for implementation of the project.
